Ok, we are done with the first two projects (at least most of you are) and now we need to find some more video’s to create. Ideas: How to Video’s (high jump, how to throw a baseball, the right way to use the library, etc.) More ideas: Community Service. Help a club, teacher or other community group to produce and edit a video that will help their cause. A commercial for the group would be a good way to accomplish this.You can also recreate a scene from your favorite movie, just change it up a bit and make sure that it is appropriate. Or recreate a commercial from TV.We’ll be brainstorming in class this week as I see people with lost looks on their faces and nothing to do. Participation is 25% of your grade, don’t forget.

We’re back from spring break. As I look around the room, some of you are being productive, some of you are not. Deadline for the 2 personal video projects, seen below, is next Friday. Due by then at the latest and we will view them that Friday for grading purposes. And…April 1st we will have the interviewers from the SEVA Awards here to interview one of our producers.

Finishing up your projects March 4, 2008

We’ve got until Thursday to finish the video competition projects. Looks like we’ll have 3 to submit and I will drive them up on Thursday to turn them in. Beginning today, the rest of you who are not finishing editing should be out filming your next projects so that you can edit next week.
And…take a look at the Shirtless Apprentice vids that I’ll show in class today. Good stuff.
